Younès Kaboul (Watford)
Kaboul, 31, is another player who has been signed more than once by Redknapp. The defender was playing for Tottenham Hotspur, but left to join Redknapp’s Portsmouth in 2008. In January 2010, Redknapp brought Kaboul back to Tottenham, where he played until 2015.
Sunderland signed Kaboul from Tottenham in 2015 and the defender spent one season with the club, narrowly avoiding relegation. Kaboul then signed for Watford, where he has made 22 Premier League appearances this season. Although currently injured and therefore out of the team, Kaboul has been a regular under Walter Mazzarri this season.
Kaboul is still a regular in a Premier League side and so would be a difficult signing for Birmingham to pull off. However, if Redknapp wants to stay and put together a team to fight for promotion next summer, Kaboul could be tempted to link up with his former manager once again.
