On Wednesday afternoon, the news broke that the Bradford City winger, Mark Marshall, had been linked with a move to Charlton Athletic in the summer transfer window. Bradford City fans took to Twitter to react to the news of his possible departure.

Mark Marshall will be out of contract in the summer, and it is understood he is keen to return to the south, specifically London, to reconnect and settle back into his London roots. Robinson is currently moving and in talks to ensure Marshall puts pen to paper on a free deal in the Summer transfer window.

Marshall has been a key player in the Bantams playoff push in the Sky Bet League One 2016/17 campaign. The Yorkshire side currently finds themselves in fifth place, five points off second place Bolton, with two games to go.

Bradford City fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Mark Marshall could be departing Valley Parade in the summer, to play for Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

@harrybcafc: Think I’m the only person who wouldn’t be fussed if Marshall went. Abbot will find a replacement.

@LTCITD: Thing is too, if we go up there’s no guarantee he will even be as good anyway
