Furious Rams boss set to make changes for Terriers test

Derby County manager Gary Rowett is set to make a number of changes to his starting 11 for the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Huddersfield Town at Pride Park on Monday according to the Derby Telegraph.

The Rams were heavily beaten 4-0 by Brentford at Griffin Park on Good Friday as new boss Rowett suffered his first defeat as manager of the club.

That match saw Derby County suffer a late collapse with the home side scoring three goals in the last 20 minutes of the game and Rams boss Rowett is now threatening changes with his side set to face promotion chasing Huddersfield Town at Pride Park on Easter Monday evening.

A number of players are pushing for starting places in the side including the likes of Cyrus Christie, Ikechi Anya, Will Hughes, Abdoul Camara, Darren Bent and Matej Vydra who were all named amongst the substitutes on Good Friday and some of those players are expected to be handed chances to impress against The Terriers.

Derby County’s recent record at Pride Park is good with The Rams having not tasted defeat on home soil in their last five matches. New boss Rowett has collected 10 points from an available 15 in charge of the club and the former Birmingham City boss will be looking for a better performance from his side on Easter Monday to build on that record.
