Sky Bet Championship club Fulham will be handed a huge financial boost next month when highly-rated youngster Ryan Sessegnon signs his first professional deal with the club according to Get West London.

The 16-year-old Roehampton born full back has burst onto the scene at Craven Cottage this season after being handed his first team debut for the club in an EFL Cup tie against Leyton Orient back in early August.

Since making his senior debut, Sessegnon has gone on to get another 25 Fulham appearances under his belt while the full back has weighed in with a hugely impressive six goals. The player’s exceptional form at such a young age has seen the scouts flock to Craven Cottage this season with Premier League clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all thought to be wanting to sign the youngster.

Despite the higher division interest in the player, Sessegnon is set to provide his club with a huge boost by ignoring the speculation surrounding his future and by signing a new deal with the club next month. That professional contract will protect Fulham from losing the youngster in a cut-price deal or for a tribunal fee and should the club sell Sessegnon in the future, the transfer deal will be very much on their terms.

With Sessegnon having taken the Sky Bet Championship by storm, it is thought that the player could command a transfer fee of over £10 million in the future should the defender continue to develop at a rapid rate.
