Ipswich: Boss reveals no new injury worries ahead of Burton

Ipswich Town boss has relieved Blues fans of any worries by stating that he has a no new injury worries ahead of their trip to Burton on Good Friday.

The Tractor Boys currently find themselves nine points above the relegation zone in 17th-place. Whilst the Blues have only lost once in their last ten games, an away 3-1 loss to Fulham, they have also only managed to take maximum points once in the same period.

The Blues have found themselves heavily depleted due to injuries recently, but Mick McCarthy has since revealed that the injury list is being reduced.

“Cole [Skuse] has trained and he is fine,” Mick told Ipswich Player HD. “He was the only one we were waiting on, everybody else is fine for Friday.

“We had 21 players out training this morning which is great to see, so we have a full squad to choose from.”

Cole Skuse is now eligible to play for the Blues after recovering from a clash which inflicted concussion onto the midfielder, ruling him out of the games against Wigan and Fulham.

But now that the Skuse has returned to action, Blues boss McCarthy has been given a selection dilemma – something the McCarthy has missed for a while.

Midfielder Skuse returns to action for the Blues, however Adam Webster, Luke Hyam [both ankle], Steven Taylor [hamstring], Jonas Knudsen [shoulder] and Giles Coke [knee] are all sidelined still.

The Blues travel to Burton this Friday looking to propel themselves further away from the relegation zone by bouncing back from the 3-1 defeat at Fulham in best possible fashion.
