Bell, Fleetwood Town star being tracked by Premier League teams

Fleetwood Town star being tracked by Premier League teams

Fleetwood Town’s Amari’i Bell is being tracked by Swansea City and West Ham United according to a report from HITC Sport.

The Cod Army have shocked many people this season with how well they are doing. After years of fighting against relegation, they are now fighting for promotion and are currently 3rd in Sky Bet League One. One of the reasons for this is the performances of their left-back Bell, who has been very impressive throughout the season. As well as being great in defence, he has always contributed in attack having scored three times.

But with Bell still being young and having plenty of potential, he is only 22-years-old, teams from higher up in the league ladder have started to notice. Reports from earlier in the year suggested that Brighton and Hove Albion and Norwich City were interested in the defender but now teams from the Premier League have started to become interested in him. Both Swansea City and West Ham are said to be scouting the defender and could potentially make a move for him in the summer.

Of course, Fleetwood will not want to lose one of their star players even if they do not end up being promoted to the Sky Bet Championship. But the Lancashire side may be forced to sell up against their wishes. Bell’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2018 and if they want to get a fee other than one decided by a tribunal, they will have to sell Bell.
