Brighton & Hove Albion’s hopes of gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League received a further boost on Friday evening when promotion rivals Huddersfield Town were demolished 4-0 by Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Goals from Lee Tomlin, Tammy Abraham, Aden Flint and David Cotterill left The Terriers’ hopes of catching the top two in the Sky Bet Championship hanging by a thread.
After watching their side remain six points clear of third placed Huddersfield Town, fans of Brighton & Hove Albion took to Twitter to give their views on the result.

Big result tonight, but we can't focus too much on that. We still need to go out there and give a good performance tomorrow. #bhafc
