Nottingham Forest starlet dreams of the Premier League

Nottingham Forest youngster Matty Cash revealed to the club website that he dreams of playing in the Premier League with his current club.

The 19-year-old broke into the senior team this season following his loan spell at Dagenham & Redbridge last term and has quickly impressed at the City Ground with fine displays from midfield.

Cash has accumulated 23 appearances for Forest and secured his place as a first-team member but revealed he has ambitions of the Premier League, “We, as a club, are finding stability at the moment and the dream is to get this club in the Premier League. That is what I want and I would love to play for this club in the Premier League with The City Ground sold out every week.”

The youngster also told the club website just how much he’s enjoying his time at Forest, “I signed the contract and it means the world to me. This is my home here; I love it and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I am really happy here, I have good people around me and I don’t let anything else distract me.”

Cash created various interest from high profile clubs in the Premier League and was subject to a bid from Bundesliga title challengers RB Leipzig in January but is clearly committed to Nottingham Forest and wants to be with the team for the distant future.

Gary Brazil’s team are currently 18th in the Championship and face a trip to Burton Albion at the weekend.
