Albion mini wobble can end at New York Stadium

Brighton & Hove Albion have the perfect opportunity to bounce back from back-to-back defeats in the Sky Bet Championship when they travel to New York Stadium to face bottom club Rotherham United on Tuesday evening.

The Seagulls were unlucky to fall to a 2-1 defeat at home to fellow promotion chasers Newcastle United at The Amex Stadium on Tuesday evening but Chris Hughton’s side were hugely disappointing against struggling Nottingham Forest at The City Ground on Saturday as Albion suffered a shock 3-0 loss.

Despite falling to back-to-back defeats in the Sky Bet Championship, Brighton & Hove Albion have the perfect opportunity to bounce back on Tuesday evening when they face bottom club Rotherham United at the New York Stadium. The Millers have endured a miserable campaign in which the South Yorkshire side have won just four of their 35 league matches and Paul Warne’s side go into the match without a win in nine outings while United have conceded 14 goals in their last four matches.

Brighton & Hove Albion defeated The Millers 3-0 in the reverse fixture back in August while Rotherham United have failed to gain a single point from matches played against sides in the current top six this season.

There is no doubting the fact that the pressure is rising on Brighton & Hove Albion as the Sky Bet Championship enters the business end of the season however Rotherham United are the perfect opponents for The Seagulls to face to get their automatic promotion chase back on track.
