Brazil, Nottingham Forest will not get giddy after incredible win

Nottingham Forest will not get giddy after incredible win

Nottingham Forest head coach Gary Brazil told the Nottingham Post that his team will not get giddy after claiming an incredible 3-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Not many people will have believed that Forest could beat Brighton this year with their form going into the fixture. Forest were still struggling for form and were close to getting involved in the relegation battle while Brighton have been on top of the Sky Bet Championship for large periods of the season.

Yet amazingly, Forest claimed a comprehensive victory over Brighton with a brace from Zach Clough and Ben Osborn leading to a 3-0 win no one could have predicted before it took place. The shock win has certainly given a team fearing that they could be relegated this season a huge boost of confidence but Brazil has been keen to note that his team will not giddy or too overly excited after claiming one of the wins of the year so far.

He said: “There are no easy games in this division, I know people always say that, but Brentford will prove that again on Tuesday,”

“Brighton was not an easy game, because they are physically a very strong side. They will pick up a substantial amount of points between now and the end of the season and it will be no shock to me if they do win automatic promotion.”

“They have shown last season and again this season, that they are a very good Championship side.”

“This is a good scalp for us, but we have to be realistic; we cannot get carried away. We have beaten a decent side here, but we are facing another decent side on Tuesday and that is all that matters.”
