On loan Bristol City striker set for Chelsea chance

On loan Bristol City striker Tammy Abraham will be handed a chance to impress in the first team at parent club Chelsea next season according to the Bristol Post.

The 19-year-old Camberwell born hotshot is currently mid-way through a season long loan spell with The Robins and the youngster has impressed at Ashton Gate this season.

Abraham has bagged a hugely impressive 21 goals in just 38 appearances for Bristol City and it is understood that his good goalscoring form has made a positive impression upon Chelsea manager Antonio Conte who is set to hand the youngster a chance in the first team at Stamford Bridge next season.

The striker is a product of The Blues’ academy system with the player being part of the Chelsea Under-18s side which lifted the FA Youth Cup last season. Abraham made his first team debut for the Premier League outfit against Liverpool last May while he also featured against champions Leicester City on the final day of the 2015/2016 campaign.

Abraham is one of the most promising players to come out of the Chelsea academy in recent years and the player has been tipped to become the biggest homegrown success at Stamford Bridge since John Terry first broke into the first team in 1998.
