Huddersfield Town’s adventure in this season’s FA Cup has come to an end with a heavy 5-1 defeat to Manchester City at The Etihad Stadium.
The Terriers took a shock lead over The Pennines when Harry Bunn netted after just seven minutes but the Premier League side’s world class squad soon fought back and Leroy Sane, Pablo Zabaleta, Sergio Aguero (two) and Kelechi Iheanacho all scored to help City record a 5-1 win.
Despite the defeat, Huddersfield Town can be proud of their achievements in the competition this season and after the match, fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result.

That was a world class Manchester City team against a Town side that will more than likely be 100% changed on Saturday, done us proud #HTAFC

We move on to Saturday. 2nd string XI so no shame losing even if some of the goals were avoidable. Phil Bill superb in the 1st half. #HTAFC

Despite the result, who'd have thought we'd be in March, at the Etihad singing about going to the Premier League? #htafc

I won't be losing much sleep tonight, City made two changes from their full strength team. That front four were incredible #htafc
