5 of the Football League’s best young English managers

Starting your managerial career at 30 at a Football League club is almost unheard of but four years later, Karl Robinson is still the boss in Milton Keynes. Whilst he’s never got his club promoted, MK Dons are always in-and-around the play-off positions and although they look like they will miss out again his team is prepped to push strongly next season.

He must also give a tip of the cap to his youth team staff as the club are beginning to bring through some impressive young talent that are really adding to their first-team squad. With a campaign under them next season, backing from the chairman and a strong manager in Robinson, it could finally be the right mix for a promotion bid.
