Bristol City proved that they still have the fight for both under-fire manager Lee Johnson and Sky Bet Championship survival by recording a credible 2-2 draw with promotion chasing Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
The Robins may even look at the result as a case of two points dropped after early goals from Aaron Wilbraham and David Cotterill were cancelled out by an own goal from Korey Smith and a late Ciaran Clark header.
