Mowbray starts with Pirelli point – Twitter reacts

Newly appointed Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray has started his spell in charge at Ewood Park with a credible 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Burton Albion at The Pirelli Stadium.

The new Rovers boss got off to the perfect start when Burton Albion midfielder Matty Palmer netted a first half own goal but Mowbray’s side were made to settle for a share of the spoils when troublesome striker Marvin Sordell levelled in the second half.

Rovers’ performance was a positive one with the Lancashire club dominating possession and recording more shots of goal than their opponents and after the match, fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result.

Blackburn Rovers now face home fixtures against Derby County, Wigan Athletic and Cardiff City as they aim to climb out of the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone.
