Sky Bet Championship trio chase French ace

Sky Bet Championship trio Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Bristol City are understood to be weighing up summer moves for Paris Saint-Germain full back Fode Ballo-Toure according to Madein Foot.

The 20-year-old left back is out of contract at the Parc des Princes in the summer and is set to leave the Ligue 1 club with a whole host of clubs believed to be interested in signing the youngster.

Reports in France indicate that Sky Bet Championship trio Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Bristol City could all try to sign the highly rated defender while Premier League clubs Everton, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are also thought to be tracking the player.

Ballo-Toure joined the PSG academy in summer 2014 and the player has successfully graduated through the age groups at the Ligue 1 club although the defender is yet to make his first team debut for The Parisians.

The player has been a regular for PSG in the UEFA Youth League and his good performances in the competition have attracted a number of admirers from across Europe. Ballo-Toure has made 22 appearances in the competition in recent seasons scoring one goal. This season has seen the youngster help PSG to qualify for the Last 16 stage of the competition where they will face RB Salzburg.

Ballo-Toure is clearly a player with huge potential and should one of the Sky Bet Championship clubs successfully sign the player, they may have a real star in the making.
