Both Bristol Rovers and Sheffield United went home with a point after a goalless draw at the Memorial stadium last night.
The woodwork saved ‘Rovers from becoming 1-0 down as John Fleck drove a low shot in the 57th minute from Joe Lumley’s poor clearance. However, the Pirates were close to stealing three points when striker Rory Gaffney headed home in the 84th minute but was caught offside.

Fortunately for Sheffield, Scunthorpe united finished with a draw against Walsall, keeping the Lincolnshire side in second place from the top. Bolton Wonderers, however, hosted Rochdale. After 82 minutes of play did midfielder, Felipe Morais score for the Trotters.

Some reports suggest @moraisfilipe20 got the final touch, but we honestly don't know. All that matters is #BWFC lead. (87) 1-0 #BOLvROC

Bristol Rovers next travel to Stoke where they play Stoke side, Port Vale who are edging to stay out of the relegation zone. They last played in September where the Pirates walked away with three points after a 2-1 win with the help of a 63rd-minute penalty scored by Jermaine Easter.
However, for the Blades, they have a huge game ahead where they play Scunthorpe United. A match that will be on fans mind for a while. They last played each other back in September when Scunthorpe was at the top of the table. The game ended 2-2 including a red card awarded to defender, Chris Basham.
Sheffield United play 2nd Scunthorpe then 3rd Bolton in the next two weeks. Very tempted to go and watch both games
