Shrewsbury Town’s Junior Brown and Joe Riley are being eyed by clubs from the Sky Bet Championship and Sky Bet League One according to a report from HITC Sport.

Over the last few weeks, the Shrews have been very impressive and have started to rise up the table and get away from the relegation zone. After going six games unbeaten, they are now 17th in the table and could end up being safe in mid-table if they continue like this which would be a refreshing change for the players and fans used to having a relegation battle at the end of every season.

One of the reasons they have been so good in recent weeks have been the performances of their full backs Brown and Riley. Both have been in impressive form for the last few games and have been able to contribute just as much in attack as they have in defence. But this has led to interest from elsewhere as teams are already planning on which targets they want to sign in the summer transfer window.

While it is unknown which teams are interested in Brown and Riley, this report suggests that several clubs across the Championship are currently scouting the pair and are interesting in signing them in the summer. Of course these clubs may look to other targets when the season ends but Shrewsbury may be in for a fight should a team decide to place a bid for either of the players when the transfer window opens again.
