They are now 11 points clear of Luton Town in fourth and are just 3 points off Doncaster in first all with an all important game in hand still to be played to decide whether they will be breathing down Donny’s neck even more.
Steve Evans and Mansfield are a match made in heaven
Having been touted as a potential candidate for some League One jobs it was somewhat of a surprise to see the ex Leeds boss go to Mansfield Town of League Two but it has been a match made in heaven. Taking them over in 18th place in October he has guided them into a play off spot, who’s to say that they might not be playing in League One next season.

The oldest club in the football league took a big step towards survival as their unbeaten home record under Kevin Nolan continued with a 2-1 victory over Cheltenham Town, taking them 3 points clear of 23rd placed Leyton Orient. The battle for survival in the football league is really hotting up with any two of seven teams having the potential to be relegated.
