Rotherham United have signed Carlton Morris on loan from Norwich City for the rest of the season as confirmed by the club website.
The 21-year-old striker is seen as one of the most talented players to come through the Norwich academy in recent years but while a number of their youth players have been able to break through into the first team thanks to their relegation to the Sky Bet Championship, Morris has not been one of them.
But with Morris still being seen as a top prospect, they needed him to go on loan somewhere in order to get more experience which would help in his development as a player. And he will be staying in the league after signing on loan with Rotherham until the end of the season. The Millers are in a tough spot as they are at the bottom of the Championship are looking for a miracle to save them and Morris will be hoping he can be that miracle.
After the signing, Rotherham interim head coach Paul Warne said: “The best way to explain his game is like a young Revs [Alex Revell],”
