Aston Villa are preparing to make a third offer for Bury’s Jacob Bedeau according to a report from HITC Sport.
The Shakers’ academy has massively improved over the last few years and they currently have a bunch of players who have been attracting a lot of attention, but it seems as though Bedeau may be the star. He broke into the first team in November despite his tender age and has put in performances that are well above what you’d expect of someone of that age.
One thing that isn’t surprising anyone is that many teams from higher up the league ladder are interested in signing him which includes some of the best in the country such as Manchester United and Liverpool. But Aston Villa have been trying to get ahead of the chasing pack by making their own offers for Bedeau, though they haven’t been working yet. They’ve made two offers so far for the youngster but none of them have been satisfactory enough for Bury, who have rejected them.
But this hasn’t put the West Midlands side off as they have now followed up those bids with their third offer for Bedeau. It is unknown how much this offer is worth, but it could well be the amount that finally tempt Bury enough to accept. They have accepted the fact the defender will be leaving Gigg Lane but have been trying to get the highest amount possible for the player, which they may have just got from Aston Villa.
