Sky Bet Championship side Brentford are lining up a loan move for Watford striker Jerome Sinclair as they prepare for life after Scott Hogan, according to reports.

The Sun is reporting that the London side want to bring in youngster Jerome Sinclair on loan from Watford before letting star striker Scott Hogan leave for Premier League side Wet Ham United.

Sky Bet Championship Brentford are now resigned to the fact that Scott Hogan will be leaving during the January transfer window for a fee worth around £10million, a fee that will go a long way at Griffin Park.

The Bees know that striker Hogan wants to make the move to the Olympic Stadium this month but have been holding firm over their asking price in order to line up his replacement. It’s looking like the west London club are now turning their attention to Watford youngster and ex-Liverpool prospect Jerome Sinclair.

On the Scott Hogan front, Brentford have turned down two bids for their star man so far from West Ham as they include down payments and instalments. However the Hammers are expected to try again with an offer that this time the Bees will struggle to refuse.
