Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has stated that ‘I’ve got options’ following speculation linking Brighton & Hove Albion with a January move.
According to Sky Bet, Brighton are 2/1 favourites to secure the midfielder’s signature before September 2017. Sky Bet Championship rivals Newcastle United are 22/1, Fulham are in the market at 33/1 and QPR are priced at 40/1.
Lampard was part of the BBC Match of the Day Live punditry team for Friday night’s FA Cup clash between West Ham United and Manchester City.
Speaking following the conclusion of the game, Lampard stated that “I’ve got options really, I’m keeping fit and if I do play again it needs to be completely right for me.
“Fortunately enough, I’ve been able to have a good, long career and it would be the final right choice that would be important.
“But i’m relaxed about it as January goes and we’ll see”
