Bury have signed Cameron Burgess from Fulham, Reece Brown from Sheffield United and Taylor Moore from Bristol City in a triple swoop as confirmed by the club website.
The Shakers have been struggling in recent weeks which lead to the sacking of David Flitcroft and the club are now looking to strengthen their squad so they can pull away from the relegation zone. And in doing so they have made a triple loan signing which will help change the fabric of the squad.
The first signing of the day was Moore, a 19-year-old defender who has represented the England U20s on a number of different occasions. He had broken into the first team this season but as it seems unlikely that he’ll remain around that squad, he has been sent on loan to help his development as a player and will remain at Gigg Lane until the end of the season.
Next up was the signing of Brown, who had started the season as a Sheffield United player after signing a short term deal with them. However after making only two appearances for the Blades, he was released and has now penned a deal with Bury that will keep him there until the end of the season.
Last up was the loan signing of Burgess from Fulham. The 21-year-old defender is the latest exciting prospect to come from the Fulham academy and started the season with Bury’s rivals Oldham Athletic. Now though he will spend the rest of the season with Bury and will be hoping to improve their defensive performances.
