Norwich City slap £12m valuation on winger six clubs are chasing

Norwich City have valued Robbie Brady at £12m as six clubs aim to sign him during the January transfer window according to a report from the Daily Mirror.

During the summer Norwich had to fend off a lot of interest in Brady as his performances at Euro 2016 for the Republic of Ireland attracted plenty of attention with the Premier League champions Leicester City even making a bid, though that was turned down. The Canaries managed to keep hold of their star man but with another transfer window now open, several teams are once again interested in trying to sign the 24-year-old winger.

Four teams from the Premier League, Leicester, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Swansea City, and two teams from the Sky Bet Championship, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, are interested in Brady and will be looking to do their best to sign him this January. The Premier League sides will be using the temptation of quickly returning to the top tier, with Leicester being especially persuasive as Brady would then get a chance to play in the Champions League. On the other hand, the two Championship sides have plenty of money offer and will be looking to tell the Irishman they will be back in the Premier League soon enough.

But if they want to get to having talks with Brady, they will have to show Norwich they are willing to pay the £12m valuation they have put on the player. Norwich do seem to be more willing to sell one of their star assets this time around but are making sure they can get as much money as possible so they can recruit a replacement.
