Norwich City’s twins set to be raided by Premier League giants

Several Premier League sides are planning to raid Norwich City to sign their twin superstars Josh and Jacob Murphy according to a report from the Daily Mirror.

While Norwich haven’t done as well as they would have wanted following their relegation from the Premier League as they currently sit 12th in the Sky Bet Championship, they have had two bright spots. The Murphy twins have broken into the first team this year and while the fans have mostly been angry with the team’s performances this year, they have been delighted to see two youth team products make themselves indispensable.

But with there being two talented youngsters being part of a team that is currently underwhelming, it is no surprise to see a whole host of Premier League sides looking to try and sign Murphy during the January transfer window. Many of the teams are mid-table clubs that have had success signing from the EFL before with them being the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace, Hull City and Swansea being interested in the winger.

But the race is being lead by some of the biggest teams in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Everton aiming to lure the twins to their side. And if Norwich are resigned to the fact that they are going to lose the Murphys, it may be best to sell them to one of these giants. This report suggests that because the wingers wouldn’t be ready to break into their first team just yet, they’d loan the Murphys back out to Norwich meaning they would end up keeping them for the rest of the season.
