Jason Lowe hoping Blackburn have turned things around

Blackburn Rovers’ Jason Lowe has told the club website that he hops the side has turned things around after getting back to back wins.

The Lancashire club started the season very badly and spent a part of the season at the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship with their lack of form even being the butt of many jokes. However they did slowly start to improve and over the last few weeks, things have started to go very well for Blackburn.

Last week, Blackburn were able to pick up a win in an exciting 3-2 match with Brentford but were faced with an even tougher task when they traveled up to St James Park to face Newcastle United who had won nine games in a row. However they claimed a shock victory when Charlie Mulgrew was able to poke home the only goal of the game.

And now Blackburn have a bit of form, Lowe hopes that this is the point in the season where things improve and they start to move away from the bottom of the Championship.

He said: “It is back-to-back victories for us and it is important, but what we can’t do is get carried away and think we are the best team in the world because there is still a lot to build on, still plenty of games ahead and plenty that we need to win.”

“So we won’t get carried away, it is a fantastic victory for us, it is a great feeling to get back into the dressing room and the feel-good factor and hopefully we can kick on from this now.”
“We showed a lot of character and hopefully we’ve turned the corner and can keep going and put a little bit of consistency together.”
