Nottingham Forest ready to receive bids for star midfielder

Nottingham Forest are preparing to receive bids for Ben Osborn during the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from The Sun via HITC Sport.

Over the weekend, many of Forest’s top propsects were linked with a move away from the City ground with reports suggests that Joe Worrall and Matty Cash are being scouting by the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool. However more bad news is on its way for Forest fans who hope to keep their star assets as now Premier League sides are considering making bids for one of their key players.

Watford and Swansea City have both been impressed when they have scouted Ben Osborn this season are both clubs believe a bid of around £3m would be enough to make sure he’ll be jumping up a league come the January transfer window.

With this interest set to increase when the transfer window opens, Forest fans will be expecting the worst and that Osborn will soon be on his way. While there is a keenness around the club to make sure he stays in the East Midlands, Osborn did sign a new four-year deal in August with the aim of putting off any potential suitors, but Forest have sold off key players in the past with Oliver Burke leaving in the summer to join Bundesliga title chasers RB Leipzig.

However with Osborn being a key player for them and the fact they have no reason to sell with his contract not set to expire until 2020, it’s like Forest will put up more of a fight to keep him.
