QPR fans want Paul Clement as next head coach

QPR fans want Paul Clement as their next head coach according to a poll done by us.

The R’s have been looking for a new manager after they decided to sack Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink after a poor run of form which has seen them drop down the Sky Bet Championship table.

And the man that QPR fans want as their next head coach is Clement, who won with 51.03% of the vote. While he was sacked as the manager of Derby County last season, his reputation having been the assistant manager to Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid helped him to win this vote and be the person the fans want in the hotseat.

In second place was Tim Sherwood. While he hasn’t managed in the Championship yet, his record at Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa was impressive and it was enough to get him 17.93% of the vote despite the fact that his spells tend to end badly after an initial burst of form.

3rd place was held jointly by Karl Robinson and Nigel Pearson who both got 13.1% of the vote. Both managers are recently unemployed after Robinson resigned as MK Dons boss after taking them as far as he thought he could take them while Pearson was sacked as Derby’s head coach following a dispute with their chairman Mel Morris.

Finally, Ryan Giggs came last in the vote after getting just 4.83% of the vote. While he is a big name, he lacks any management experience and that played against him in this vote.
