With The Championship being one of the most competitive and unpredictable leagues in Europe, the chance of a shot at the end-of-season lottery that is the Playoffs normally presents a fascinating conclusion. With the Top 2 in the division seemingly already decided, although Derby and QPR might still want to have a say in that, the main prize left to play for in English football’s second tier is a Top 6 finish. It would appear that Derby, QPR and Wigan are playing with enough confidence and have accumulated enough points already to all but ensure their place.
