Chris Wood – Leicester City
The forgotten man at the King Power moved from stage right to centre stage in the top two clash at Turf Moor. Coming off of the bench in the first half when Jamie Vardy picked up an injury, Wood made an instant impact feeding David Nugent who beat his man and curled the ball home from the edge of the area. The Kiwi, who was credited with the late equaliser on Tuesday against Yeovil, made it 2 in 2 with a worldie. After a long ball down field, Wood who was adjudged to of fairly out muscled the Burnley defender, took one touch to set himself and then volleyed over Tom Heaton to put the game to bed with 12 minutes to go.
