Have a look at Charlie Mulgrew’s lavish mansion, now on sale!

Blackburn Rovers’ Charlie Mulgrew has put his Scottish mansion on sale according to a report from the Glasgow Evening Times.

When Mulgrew signed for Blackburn towards the end of the transfer window, he, his wife and their three children decided to head down south and move to Lancashire so he could focus on his new team without the distraction of a long daily commute.

That means the mansion he lived in while playing for Celtic is now on sale, which you can see on Rightmove. It is a six bedroom detached house in the Lenzie area of Glasgow and is currently on sale for £595,000, which is actually less than what Mulgrew paid for it when he initially moved in back in 2013. According to the estate agent, it is an “An exceptionally spacious and well-appointed detached residence.”.

As well as having six bedrooms, the rest of the house has plenty of things which could attract potential buyers such as three of the bedrooms having an en-suite bathroom, a lounge with a bay window and a feature fireplace as well as a driveway which leads to a detached double garage, meaning the house owner’s car and be relatively safe to the outside world. There is also a generously sized garden on the front and the back of the property, making it the ideal place for a family to settle.

Mulgrew actually grew up nearby, meaning that buying this house three years ago was close to returning to his roots for him. This was as part of him returning to Celtic for his second spell after initially being released after coming through their academy.
