After playing at the club for three years where he made 104 appearances with a neat 34 goals, he took on the job of a player-manager role for a twenty-five game stint in the hot-seat. His last managerial job was in 2005 with Milwall and with his beloved Pompey seemingly in free fall he surely will want to try to save them. The question is, is he the right man?
