Unbeaten Huddersfield Town made it three from four with a 2-1 victory over South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley in a win that consolidated their place at the head of the Championship table.
Goals from Chris Löwe (27′) and Jonathan Hogg (90+1′) gave the Terriers the points as they fought hard against the Tykes to record their third win of the campaign in front of a 20,001 crowd at the John Smith’s Stadium – both goals assisted by Elias Kachunga.
It seems that the Wagner Revolution is starting to kick in down in West Yorkshire as the former Dortmund reserve manager sets about his first full season in th English Championship.
In the post-match video interview below he talks about the two goals and about how the Terriers fought to get back into a game that they could easily have been 2-0 down in. He also goes on to praise the working and fighting attitude of the players by pointing out a saying popular in Germany: only the hard worker gets luck.
Overall, Wagner admits that he is more than happy at the way that the Terriers are playing at the moment.
