With virtually a full set of midweek fixtures across the Football league on Tuesday night, there are definitely some great opportunities to wisely place your hard earned money, look at it as a mid-week investment!

Where I see the best value midweek is through a 6-fold of Championship and League One fixtures. All home wins. My 6-fold below will return anything from £63-£75 based on a £2 stake.

Bolton v Blackpool
Kick-off: 20:00 Home odds 4-5
you may argue Bolton have stuttered of late, maybe perhaps all season… however they do have a lot of quality in the squad especially with the boosts of January signings Mason, Trotter & Jutkiewicz. In a Lancashire derby at the Reebok unfortunately for Blackpool I can see nothing else than a Bolton victory.

Burnley v Doncaster
Kick-off: 19:45 Home odds 4-9
take nothing away from Doncaster, their home form has been fantastic. However on the road, they have had a hard run picking up just 1 win in 13. Coming up against Promotion chasing Burnley at Turf Moor will be very difficult for Paul Dickov’s men. I’ve gone for a home win.

Millwall v Birmingham
Kick-off: 19:45 Home odds 6-5
with two managers who certainly know how to fire a squad up it’s bound to be a cracking game. The New Den is a tricky place to visit for any team and it’s now for Holloway’s men to capitalize on this. With fixtures running out, a chance for Millwall to close the gap on fellow strugglers Birmingham is massive. On the basis that Millwall are at home and desperate for 3 points, I’m going for the home win.

Nott’m Forest v Charlton
Kick-off: 19:45 Home odds 8-13
off and on the pitch things certainly haven’t been going to plan in Nottingham of late. A team we all thought destine to be in the play-offs? But with the final stretch of the season approaching, are in a worrying spat of form. A little to worrying for Billy Davies as his contract has been terminated today Monday 24/03. However for the new man in charge, providing they find one, this game really could be where Forest kick-on. A perfect chance to put the embarrassment of Saturday’s defeat to rivals Derby behind them. With a struggling Charlton and potentially the new manager’s first game in charge I’m persuaded to go with a Home win.

Bristol C v Port Vale
Kick-off: 19:45 Home odds 1-1
I believe an improving Bristol City side will be too tough for Micky Adam’s Port Vale. City are now 5 games unbeaten and will be looking to swiftly move on from throwing away a two goal lead away at Colchester on Saturday. Home win.

Leyton Orient v Oldham
Kick-off: 19:45 Home odds 8-11
it really is going to go down to the wire in the fight for automatic promotion from League One. With Leyton Orient chasing down 1st and 2nd there really is no time for slip-ups at home against mid table opposition. Home win.

Longshot: Leicester Yeovil DRAW, Sheff Utd WIN, Portsmouth WIN & York Torquay DRAW. 50p stake returns anything from £95 – £100.

If you fancy the longshot I’ve gone for a 4-fold across all 3 divisions. Leicester Yeovil DRAW. Last week’s antics at the DW just go to show Yeovil are not to be taken lightly, hopefully Leicester don’t make the same mistake, nothing is impossible. Sheffield United face a tough away test against Crawley Town who last week conquered Wolves at home, however Crawley currently look de motivated and are struggling, Sheffield United are on a high. Portsmouth WIN away at league leaders Rochdale. Portsmouth shouldn’t be taken lightly either, they will go to Rochdale with their football league status to fight for, I didn’t think I’d see the day Portsmouth would be underdogs against Rochdale. York Torquay DRAW. It’s do or die for Torquay based on that I fancy them to battle out a draw against play-off chasing York.
