Sheffield Wednesday look set to raid Watford again

Sheffield Wednesday are looking to sign another Watford player after they were linked with a move for Almen Abdi according to a report from Sky Sports.

Since Dejphon Chansiri took over the club at the start of 2015, the Owls have signed three players from Watford. While the signing of Lewis McGugan was not a success after he was placed on the transfer list this week, both Fernando Forestieri and Daniel Pudil became fan favourites since signing last summer.

With players from Watford seemingly being natural fits for Wednesday, they look set to poach another player from Vicarage Road after being linked with a move for Abdi. While he was a regular for the Hornets last season, he looks set to leave the club as their new manager Walter Mazzari wants to bring in his own recruits. And head to a club where he can once again link up with Forestieri would be a natural fit for him.

The fans would be very happy to see Abdi join the club though that may be because of a lack of action on the transfer front so far this summer. Wednesday have only signed two senior players during this transfer window with them being Steven Fletcher and Jake Kean.
