Liverpool midfielder to choose between three Football League clubs

Liverpool’s Cameron Brannagan is set to choose between Bristol City, Bradford City and Wigan Athletic to join on loan according to a report from Page 63 of The Sun on Sunday.

While the 20-year-old midfielder is seen as a big talent at Anfield and is expected to break into the first team at some point, it won’t be this season. That means the management at the club are keen to loan him out so he can get some first team experience to help in his development.

And now Brannagan is being tracked by three clubs that he could join this summer. Two of the teams are Championship sides, Bristol City and Wigan Athletic, who will be hoping to challenge for the play offs this season. However he may get more first team football in League 1 with Bradford City who will hope to get promoted after suffering heartbreak in the play offs last season.

This would be the first time that Brannagan had been loaned out since he came through the Liverpool academy. The only time that Brannagan has taken to the pitch as a professional were the nine appearances he has made with the Reds with most of them coming in the cup competitions.
