Ross McCormack wants to leave Fulham

Ross McCormack wants to leave Fulham and join one of the many clubs chasing his signature according to a report from The Mirror.

When the 29-year-old forward signed for the Cottagers, it was believed that he would help fire the club back to the Premier League. But Fulham’s return to the Championship has been disastrous and they have been battling against relegation for the last two seasons.

And now McCormack is hoping to force a move away from Craven Cottage after he didn’t travel with the rest of the squad for their tour of Portugal. And he will have plenty of clubs to choose from. All three teams that were relegated from the Premier League this season, Newcastle United, Norwich City and Aston Villa, are set to match Fulham’s £13m valuation while Sheffield Wednesday are also reported to be interested.

Fulham have become resigned to the fact that they will be losing McCormack this summer. This would still be a huge blow as they’ve already lost one of their star strikers this season. Moussa Dembele, the second highest scorer for the club behind McCormack, also left at the end of his contract to join Scottish champions Celtic. This means Fulham are going to have to find a whole new strike partnership for next season.
