Ex-Reading youngster Conor Shaughnessy is on trial at Championship club Leeds United after being photographed playing for the Whites against Tadcaster Albion.
The 20-year-old is a free agent following his release from Reading in the summer. Shaugnessy primarily operates as a central midfielder but can also play in the centre of defence if required.
Shaugnessy has been a player that has interested other clubs during this summer, with the player also previously being on trial for League One outfit Sheffield United, playing in their 5-0 victory over Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Leeds beat Tadcaster Albion 2-0 on Tuesday evening, playing a development squad with few first-team players present.
Shaugnessy scored the first goal of the evening for Leeds just before half-time, striking his effort from 25 yards into the top corner.

Whilst four trialists featured for Leeds in the game, Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay suggested that the players were not being looked at for the first-team, and were instead being assessed for their suitability for United’s development squad.
At this stage, it is unclear if Shaugnessy or any of the other trialists on show in the victory against Tadcaster will be apart of any future pre-season games.
