West Ham favourites to sign Norwich’s Euro 2016 star

The latest odds published by many bookermakers have made West Ham heavy favourites to sign Norwich’s left sided player Robbie Brady.

Brady put in excellent performances in all four of the Republic of Ireland’s group games at Euro 2016, and has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs, including current champions Leicester City.

But bookmakers, such as SkyBet, have odds as low as 1/10 for the Irishman to join the Hammers.

Brady can play at either left back or on the left wing, but the two goals he scored at Euro 2016 both game whilst he was on the wing.

He scored the crucial goal in their 1-0 victory over Italy which saw them qualify for the knockout stages, as well as scoring an early penalty in the Last 16 against hosts France.

Following Norwich City’s relegation from the Premier League last season, Robbie Brady was tipped as being one of the most likely players to leave the club in order to remain a top flight footballer.

Another player who was tipped to leave was Nathan Redmond, who has since joined south coast side Southampton, and The Mirror reports that the Saints are looking to reunite Brady and Redmond at St Marys this season.
