Leeds United: 5 fixtures to look for

Wednesday June 22, 9 a.m. All fans sat pressing F5 relentlessly as the fixture release time came around.

Who will be our opening game? Who will we have on the traditional Boxing Day game? Who will we have for the last game of the season? Who will we have on my birthday?

Now the fixtures are out, fans can begin to plan holidays around home games. Fans can also now begin to plan with military precision how to get from work to away games in time for kick-off. Fans will no doubt be plotting the odd sickie or three from work for those longer trips.

This is no different for Leeds United fans. As the fixtures were released then I am sure that they’d have been a-plotting in the same manner.

On the following pages is a selection of five games that Leeds United fans might be looking towards over the coming season.
