QPR close to signing Polish international

QPR are close to completing the deal for Legia Warsaw’s Ariel Borysiuk according to a report from the West London Sport.

The R’s had an offer of £800,000 accepted by Polish club Legia this week and now the 24-year-old midfielder will travel to England in order to have a medical and hopefully complete the deal and make the transfer official.

There has been a rush for QPR to get a new signing completed as their head coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants to get at least one midfielder into the team ahead of pre-season which begins on the 1st July with a friendly against neighbors Aldershot Town.

Borysiuk isn’t the only midfielder QPR have been interested in. Former Tottenham youngster John Bostock, who is currently at Belgian side Oud-Heverlee Leuven, is the subject of interest from the West London side and they have had talks with the club over a potential deal.

This is in addition to a number of other deals Hasselbaink is hoping to complete in order to rebuild his squad. They have had bids turned down for Brentford’s Jake Bidwell and Huddersfield Town’s Joel Lynch while they are also keen to loan in Arsenal’s Isaac Hayden.

Hasselbaink will hope to get all these deals sorted soon as he aims for promotion this season.
