Preston North End have today announced the season-long loan signing of Danish international striker Simon Makienok and we’ve rounded up some of the best Twitter reactions.
The 25 year-old spent last season on loan at Charlton from Serie A club Palermo and the Italians have again sent the attacker away for the season.
The Lilywhites were always favourites to land the towering forward but Leeds did show a late interest in signing him.
A lot of Preston fans were happy to see the striker arrive at Deepdale and welcomed him to the club…
