Blackburn Rovers’ fans add to the number of football league sides which are rebelling against their ownership, with other notable clubs being Charlton Athletic, Blackpool and Leeds United.
Today the social media campaign #VenkysOut trended worldwide on twitter in an attempt to raise awareness within the international footballing community, of the fans disappointment and hopelessness regarding the downward spiral their club is facing.
The most recent turbulent situation at Ewood Park is the decision by Paul Lambert to stand down as manager of the Championship side, due to a disagreement regarding the future ambitions of the footballing side.
In the 2011 / 2012 season Rovers faced a relegation from the top flight of English football into the Sky Bet Championship and since then they have witnessed season finishes at 17th, 8th, 9th and 15th. There is no sign that the club is restructuring in order to push for promotion back into the Barclay’s Premier League.
We look to Twitter to see the comments and messages fans and members of the footballing community have regarding the Venkys:

One Rover fan suggested that Blackpool and Rovers conduct a joint rebellion march to identify to the Football League and FA the dire situation of their football clubs.

It would seem that the members of the footballing community, which are not even fans of the Rovers have taken to Twitter to state their support for the removal of the Venky family at Ewood Park.
