Leeds United’s controversial chairman Massimo Cellino has, in an interview, revealed he’d like to leave the club and is “hurt and only” over the current situation.
Whites fans have been vocal on Twitter about their feelings regarding the Italian and his claims that he wishes he never bought the club back in 2014.
The club finished the season in mid table and have struggled to challenge for promotion during Cellino’s seasons at the helm.
Most reactions weren’t jumping to the defence of the 49 year-old…

Cellino has stated that he is willing to sell the club if the right offer comes in but has said a lot of people are “just fishing” and that he never “sees the money.
Other Whites fans went on a bit more of a personal route when addressing Cellino’s comments…
Cellino sad, boo hoo who gives a shit, mega rich, self obsessed, egomaniac, we supposed to feel sorry? Fuck him and his entourage #lufc

#lufc all evidence points to #cellino having a mental age of about 5 so this is most likely more emotional blackmail to garner sympathy.

The Italian also spoke in the interview about how he is “scared to take a train in case someone comes up to me” adding that his family “don’t come to Leeds anymore because they are scared.”
One of Cellino’s sons, Ercole, left the board at the club last month following controversy surrounding Nazi references.
