Peterborough United finished off their season in style yesterday with a thumping 5-1 victory over Blackpool.
The result resigned Blackpool to back-to-back relegations.
Peterborough are currently without a first team manager. Grant McCann has taken temporary charge and has seen his side win their final two League One games.
But who’s the favourite to take the Posh job? Here’s a rundown of the top five, according to the bookies:
5) Karl Robinson – 14/1
The current MK Dons manager is fifth favourite to take the helm at the ABAX Stadium. Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony has recently stated that he wants a manager who has past experiences of getting out of League One, and Karl Robinson certainly has that. He helped MK Dons to their first ever promotion to the second tier in 2015. Unfortunately for the Dons, they were relegated back to League One at the first time of asking. Peterborough often consider MK Dons as one of the fiercest rivals, so could stealing their manager be a good ploy to ensuring the Posh finish above the Dons next season?
