Following the news yesterday that Leeds United striker Mirco Antenucci is departing the club, Whites fans have taken to Twitter to share their feelings on the news.
The Italian forward had been at Elland Road for the past two years and finished this season with nine goals and four assists from his 41 appearances.
Reactions about his departure range one extreme to the other. Let’s start with those who thanked the 31 year-old for his services these past few years…
A massive thank you to Mirco Antenucci for the past couple of years… Your gonna be missed a pleasure to watch you #lufc thank you

Other fans are happy to see him leave but want some of his fellow Italians to follow him out of the door…
So Antenucci has departed – Too much to hope for that Silvestri, Bellusci and more importantly Cellino will go back to Italy with him ?✌

Antenucci and probably Steve Evans already gone. Bellusci and Wootton in the next week and that's actually progress.

Leeds United finished the season with a whimper yesterday ending up in 13th place in the League. A poor defensive error gifted Preston a 92nd minute equalizer after the Whites had taken the lead in the 78th minute courtesy of a Chris Wood penalty.
