Robbie Mustoe:
Mustoe was Boro’s Mr consistent. He made 365 appearances at the heart of midfield scoring 25 goals during his Boro career and rarely let them down. Robbie Mustoe saw many midfield partners come and go but was more often than not the first name on the sheet, particularly in an era where Boro seemed to be more content on having forward thinking players Emerson, Juninho and the likes, he was the protector. He left in 2002, moving on to Charlton and then Sheffield Wednesday. Afetr hanging up his boots he went Stateside and he is now a commentator for NBC sports in America.
