QPR attacker given chance to impress at Loftus Road

Queens Park Rangers attacker Ben Gladwin will be given a further chance to impress at Loftus Road after being recalled from his loan spell at Championship rivals Bristol City before schedule according to Get West London.

The 23 year old joined Bristol City on loan following a difficult start to his career in West London after joining The R’s last summer from Swindon Town but has been recalled by The Hoops after struggling to break into the first team picture at Ashton Gate.

Gladwin made just one appearance during his temporary spell with The Robins with his time at the club dominated by injury problems. On his return to fitness, the form of other players has prevented the player making further appearances for Bristol City.

Parent club QPR have now made the decision to recall the player and it is understood that Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will now assess the player’s attributes during the remaining matches of the season to determine whether Gladwin can be an asset for the club next season.

The Hoops are expecting to make major changes to their squad at the end of the season with the playing budget subject to a significant reduction going forward and it is unknown whether Gladwin will fit into the club’s new structure beyond the summer.
