Hull youngster loaned to League Two side

Hull City defender Max Clark has joined League Two side Cambridge United on a one-month loan.

The 20 year-old has never made a senior appearance for the Tigers so will be looking for some first-team action with his new side.

Clark has teamed up with Shaun Derry’s side who are currently 10th and aiming to reach the League Two play-offs. They will be hoping the signing of Clark, who can also play in midfield, will help them achieve this.

Hull are no strangers to loaning out youngsters to lower league sides. Players such as Greg Luer and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin have also been loaned out to League Two clubs in the form of Stevenage and Leyton Orient respectively.

Clark will be eager to impress Tiger’s boss Steve Bruce during his loan spell with Cambridge, amongst fears he will join the long list of Hull youngsters who have not quite made the grade.
